Using a Mac provided by your instructor, install OS X 10.6. Document the installation process from beginning to end. Include research you have done before beginning the installation. The Mac must be completely functional when you have finished installing the new operating system.

Create a new user account and password. Use one of the procedures that you have learned to reset the password and document your steps. Describe briefly what alternative options you have to reset passwords.
